Clankeeper by Tamperan UK‑wide, based in Fareham

Your own members' community, with a video library

A feed, a members' directory and a library of your videos, for the people who already follow you.

Clankeeper is set up under your name, with your own words and your own cover picture.

Rings through to Shane, or request a call back.

The public page of a made-up sailing school's members' community, as somebody who isn't signed in sees it
A sample community, Tidewright Crew, for a made-up sailing school: what somebody who isn't signed in sees first.

Price

  • Clankeeper

    POA price on application

Set up and looked after for you.

Price on application: tell us about your community and we'll come back with a quote.

Your words, photos and videos are yours.

Clankeeper gives the people who already follow you, learn from you or buy from you somewhere of your own to be: a feed to talk in, a members' directory, and a library of your videos in the order you want them watched. You choose who's in and what each plan opens.

We look after the tech. You look after the community.

What we do

  • Set Clankeeper up round your business: your name, your words, your areas and your plans.
  • Invite the people you already have, one by one or from a list of past students, each with a sign-in link.
  • Set up the tools that keep it a good place: reporting, complaints and moderation.
  • Host it, and keep it fast, secure and backed up.
  • Make the changes you ask for.
  • Answer the phone: the same person from the first chat on, who knows your setup.

What you do

  • Post, reply and welcome people in.
  • Film your lessons and put them in order.
  • Decide who's in and what each plan opens.

That's it. Anything else, ask us and it's done.

Somewhere for your people to be

A members' community that's yours, with the parts people expect and nothing bolted on the side.

A feed people come back to

Posts with photos, comments and reactions, so there's always something new to read and answer.

Areas for each topic

Split the community into areas, and choose which plans open which.

A members' directory

Everyone has a profile, and members can see who else is here.

A front door for people who aren't in yet

Somebody who isn't signed in sees a page of your own, saying what the community is.

No passwords

Members sign in with a link sent to their email, so there's nothing to forget.

Your videos, in order

The workshop you've taught a hundred times, filmed once and kept where your members can find it.

A library of lessons

Upload your videos and put the lessons in the order you want them watched.

You choose who sees them

A library is an area like any other, so a plan can open it, or leave it closed.

A preview for people not yet in

Open a few lessons to the free plan, as a taste of the rest.

Plans that decide who sees what

Let people in free to look round, and keep the rest for the plans that open it.

Free and paid plans

Each plan opens the areas you choose.

Read-only, if you want

A plan can let people read an area without posting in it.

A limit each month

Cap the posts, comments or lesson videos a plan allows in a month, so a free plan stays a taste.

Bring your people in

You've already got an audience. Clankeeper gets them through the door.

One by one

Invite someone with their email address and they get a personal link to sign in.

A whole list at once

Send us your past students as a list and each one is invited.

A good place to be

Tools to keep it a good place, which is yours to run. Nothing in software does that for you.

Members can report

Anyone can report a post or a person, and make a complaint.

You decide

Reports reach a queue where you can hide a post, take it down, suspend someone or dismiss it.

A record of every decision

What was decided and why is kept, and the member is told.

When a Facebook group will do

If a free group already does all you need, keep it. Clankeeper is for when you want the community under your own name, with a video library of your own.

More about us

FAQs

How much does Clankeeper cost?

It's price on application. Tell us about your community and we'll quote it.

Can I bring my existing customers across?

Yes. Invite people one by one, or send us a list of past students and each person gets an invitation by email with a link to sign in.

Do members need a password?

No. They sign in with a link sent to their email.

What can members do?

Post, with photos, comment and react, browse a directory of the other members, and watch the lessons their plan opens.

Can I keep some videos for certain members only?

Yes. A library of lessons is an area like any other, so you choose which plans open it, and you can open a few to the free plan as a preview.

Is it only for training providers?

No. It's for any business or teacher with people who'd like to keep in touch: class and workshop businesses, coaches and studios as well. Past students are the obvious first invitations.

How do you keep it a good place?

Members can report a post or make a complaint, and you decide what happens, with a record of every decision. They're tools to keep it a good place, and how it's run is up to you.

I need something it doesn't do.

Then we can build software round how you work. That starts with a free consultation.

What happens when you get in touch

Tell us a little about the people you'd invite and what you'd like the community for, and we'll come back with a price. No obligation, and no hard sell.
