About Tamperan
Tamperan is a small software company in Fareham, Hampshire, making Coursekeeper for training providers and Seatkeeper for class and workshop businesses, and building custom software for small businesses. It's Shane Wright and a few people he's worked with for years, and we look after what we build once it's live.
Who's behind it
Shane Wright
I live and work in Fareham. I've spent more than 25 years in software, co-founded two businesses and was CTO of both, and both were sold.
These days I work with a few partners I've known for years. A small job is usually me; a bigger one is several of us. Either way nobody sits between you and the people doing the work.
I'm a nerd about this stuff and always have been. But the technology is a tool, not the point - if it isn't making somebody's day easier, it has no business existing. So I keep it in plain English and build things people can just use.
